PASSENGERS had to be evacuated off a British Airways jet after it caught fire.
Dramatic pictures show firefighters hosing down the plane at Copenhagen Airport in Denmark shortly after it touched down from London.
All crew and passengers had to be rushed off the aircraft, an Airbus A320-232, as emergency services dealt with the blaze.
But those waiting to jet back to London were left feeling frustrated as operators were forced to cancel the return flight.
Videos shared on social media show the waiting room crowded with passengers, watching on as fire crews sprayed the jet.
The blaze broke out shortly after the plane arrived in Copenhagen at 7.25pm yesterday local time.

No injuries were reported.
Danish police said the plane was evacuated after a fire broke out in one of the engines.
Cops tweeted: “A fire erupted in an engine of a passenger jet that was stopped at the gate.
“Fire is out. Passengers evacuated. No one injured.”

A BA spokesman told The Sun Online: “All customers and crew disembarked the BA820 safely.
“We would never operate an aircraft unless it was safe to do so.
It’s the latest blow for the airline giant as it navigates the summer from hell with thousands of flight cancellations.
The company has announced it will cut a further 10,300 short-haul flights until the end of October.
Would-be holidaymakers heading abroad during the summer hols have been warned to brace for more chaos ahead of their breaks.
The airline has already cancelled 17,600 flights for the summer season through to October – taking 2.8 million seats out of the market.

The new cancellations mean around 13 per cent of their summer schedule has been scrapped.
Affected routes expect to be ones with “multiple departures a day” as well as quieter routes to reduce disruption. Long haul flights have not been affected.
